Fuck You, Vince
People are saying this is somehow my fault, that somehow Lance’s death is on my head.
Well.
Look, I’m as sad as anyone else to hear that Lance passed. Am I surprised, though? No, not really. As much as Shawn Michaels will defend Lance, he never loved the business. He was here because wrestling pays you a lot of money and gives you a lot of free time to waste on abusing substances.
You can all miss him as much as you want, but I haven’t heard a single person before today say “I miss Lance Cade on Raw,” because nobody did. Lance knew that. Lance knew he wasn’t that great a wrestler. Did he try to improve? A little bit. But more than anything, Lance viewed wrestling as the easy life, and the easy life got him, just like it gets anyone who comes into this business for the wrong reasons.
I’m saddened for his family, more than anything. Lance leaves behind two daughters. That’s the sad part. That’s the tragedy. You want to live a life of self abuse? Great. Do it on your own time. Don’t try to raise a family, too.
